Dance music culture is historically rooted in diversity. Queer folks have gathered in secret at bars to dance, build community, and connect with one another since the 1960s. Queer Out Here and Queer In Here are celebrations of queer love and liberation that brings us back to our roots. We aim to uplift our queer community by giving queer people the stage, with hopes that representation will empower all those in attendance. Together, we will co-create a safe space in which we can celebrate queer gender and sexuality expressions, and experience collective joy.
Now, more than ever, we need to stand together against the rising tides of transphobia and homophobia, fueled by disinformation intended to stir up moral panic and dehumanize queer people. Queer communities and allies are being targeted by angry and misinformed locals, peoples’ rights are being stripped away in less progressive provinces (and many states), queer establishments are being raided, and violence against queer folks is rising. We share this with the intent of highlighting the importance of connective events that celebrate diverse expressions of genders and sexualities.

Queer In Here: Après Pride: (Please note that this event is 19+)
The value of this event is $20. If you cannot afford a ticket, get in touch and help out. We are looking for setup, tear, and general cleanup volunteers. If you can't help or afford a ticket, send us an email. A portion of our profits will go towards American Near East Refugee Aid, a group helping Palestinians being misplaced by the genocide the Israeli government is currently carrying out.
